Matthew McConaughey Introduces the Coolest Lincoln Navigator We'll Never See in Production
Lincoln’s concept at the NYIAS had some star qualities. The first one being that it was introduced and endorsed by Lincoln Spokesman Mathew McConaughey. The second was this remarkable baby blue Navigator with none other than some insane gull wing doors, and below, a silver stairway to heaven. When Lincoln’s president Kumar Galhotra said it was a “very strong hint” of what the production Navigator will look like, our balloon got severely deflated. Why show off your automobile with quite possibly the coolest feature to ever be on a vehicle of this class, and then take it away from us by telling us the doors were purely meant for show, and would never reach production. Just a great way to “showcase the interior.” Or basically just a bait and switch way to get the press talking about you at the NYIAS. Damn you Lincoln, it worked.
Moving on, the Lincoln Navigator concept doubles as a dressing room. The rear cargo area doubles as a closet, complete with shelves that make up a wardrobe management system. Forget gull wing doors… they’re so 1985, give me a mobile dressing room any day!
Naturally, we’ve got all the autonomous bells and whistles you’d imagine in a luxury vehicle, including pre-collision assist, pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assistant, and a 365-degree camera. Under the hood you’ll find a 3.5-liter EcoBoost 400 hp V6.

Find Quality Touch Up Paint

All touch up paint is not created equal! The generic paints you buy at auto part stores will likely NOT match your vehicle’s paint exactly. Believe it or not, even the OEM dealers usually stock “close enough” colors. We recommend PaintScratch.com since their high quality paint is freshly made, they custom mix each order for you upon receipt, and they offer a color match guarantee.
