Game of Crossovers: Audi unveils a 2018 Q8 Concept that would compete with BMW’s X6
A little bit of monkey see, monkey do here as Audi unveils it’s 2018 Q8 Crossover Concept at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show that looks like it’s been specifically designed with a sole purpose in mind to go head-to-head with BMW’s X6, or even Mercedes GLC Coupe, making it the third luxury automaker into the deadly game of crossovers. But we’re totally ok with that because it looks friggin’ awesome. Kind of like a compressed, stockier Q7, with thicker design lines and elements. The grill and headlights are a complete work of art and who can’t love it’s monster tires. The Q8 Concept was painted in a really bright blue that we’re not used to seeing in the standard Audi vehicle lineup.
Since it’s still a “concept” the stats Audi gave us were also “conceptual”, boasting a V6 with 333 hp and 368 lb-ft of torque and a single electric motor integrated into the eight-speed automatic transmission adds 134 hp and 234 lb-ft of torque to that, pairing a 17.3-kWh battery and a diesel engine. Audi claims it will get a 60-mile EV range and a total range of 621 miles all around.
No word on cost but looking forward to hearing whether or not Audi moves the 2018 Q8 Crossover into production any time soon.
But rest assured, crossovers are coming. Valar Motorghulius... "all men must drive."

Find Quality Touch Up Paint

All touch up paint is not created equal! The generic paints you buy at auto part stores will likely NOT match your vehicle’s paint exactly. Believe it or not, even the OEM dealers usually stock “close enough” colors. We recommend PaintScratch.com since their high quality paint is freshly made, they custom mix each order for you upon receipt, and they offer a color match guarantee.
