Bentley Service Maintenance Guide*

In order to extend the life of your vehicle and it’s parts and to ensure your safety, it is essential to take the very best care of it by closely following the manufacturer’s service guide schedule.  Simple service tasks such as changing the oil and oil filter, rotating tires and fluid and spark plug maintenance can not only help keep your car or truck performing at it’s best, it can also help maximize fuel efficiency.  The following guide is the general vehicle service interval schedule as provided by the manufacturer, and may vary slightly from model to model, and year to year.

Mileage Intervals: 5000/25,000/45,000/65,000/85,000/105,000/125,000

• Change Engine Oil and Replace Oil Filter
• AdBlue Fluid – fill completely with fresh fluid (max capacity 23 liters) and adapt learned values for AdBlue tank under guided fault finding after filling fluid (when applicable) 
• Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) – perform after first 120k miles after a DPF replacement
• Tires – check for wear and damage, check tire pressure, reset Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
• Rotate Tires
• Inspect Wiper Blades
• Wiper/Washer/Headlight Washer – check adjustment and function, add fluid if necessary 
• Reset Service Display Reminder
• Check Brake System for damage, leaks, pad thickness and fuel level

Mileage Intervals: 15,000/55,000/95,000/135,000

• Change Engine Oil and Replace Oil Filter
• AdBlue Fluid – fill completely with fresh fluid (max capacity 23 liters) and adapt learned values for AdBlue tank under guided fault finding after filling fluid (when applicable)
• Inspect Wiper Blades
• Wiper/Washer/Headlight Washer – check adjustment and function, add fluid if necessary 
• Check Brake System for damage, leaks, pad thickness and fuel level
• Check Cooling system levels
• Inspect Engine Compartment
• Battery – check for clean terminals (no corrosion), properly mounted housing, and no damage; replace if necessary.  
• Dust and Pollen Filter Replace
• Spark Plugs - Replace at 35,000-40,000 miles or 6 years, whichever occurs first.  Thereafter, every 40,000 miles or 6 years, whichever occurs first.  
• Air Cleaner – clean housing, replace filter
• Ribbed V Belt and Tensioner – check condition and replace if necessary
• Snow Screen Air Cleaner – clean 
• Replace Fuel Filter
• Plenum Panel – remove cover for plenum panel to check water and drain and clean if necessary 
• Check tires for wear and damage, check tire pressure and renewal date, rest tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
• Front Lighting – Check function of parking lights, low beams, high beams, fog lights, and MMI (if applicable) 
• Rear Lighting – check function of brake lights (including third brake light), tail lights, back-up lights, rear fog lights, license plate lights, blinkers and hazard lights
• Check Horn function 
• Lubricate Door Hinges and Straps
• Lubricate Hood Lid Hinges
• Sliding Roof – clean guide rails and lubricate
• Inspect Exhaust System
• Inspect Front and Rear Axle, seals and ball joints and tie rode ends
• Check Drive Shaft Boots
• Check Automatic Transmission and Final Drive for Leaks
• Check Manual Transmission and Final Drive for Leaks
• Underbody – check for leaks
• Road Test – check braking, kick-down, steering, electrical, heating and ventilation systems, air conditioning, ASL Automatic Shift Lock, power accessories and reset driver information display

Additional Maintenance: 

• Timing Belt – replace at 110k miles.  Check condition of timing belt tensioning system, dampening pulleys and idler pulleys and replace if necessary
• Brake Fluid – replace every 2 years regardless of mileage
• Cloth Top – check function and rollover protection every two years
• AdBlue Fluid – replace every 4 years 
• Crash Active Headrest – check function every 2 years regardless of miles

Service Due at 5,000/10,000 Miles

• Replace engine and oil filter
