2019 Acura RDX Reveal at Detroit Auto Show
As someone who personally owns and loves their fully loaded 2018 Acura RDX, the vehicle's makeover is a definite kick in the face. Its everything we wanted but didn't know was going to come out in the very next model. But hindsight is 20/20.
The 3rd generation RDX comes on an "Acura exclusive" (sorry Honda owners), lighter and stiffer platform, and has swapped out it's V6 for a 2-0 liter, turbo-charged engine with 10 speed automatic. As before, it will offer both FW and AWD. The v-tec engine will deliver 40% more low-end torque, with the addition of two more drive modes, comfort and snow.
The exterior is glorious. Faced with a more aggressive grill, the crossover looks more glorious than ever. You'll have an option for a swag sound system upgrade, but the, how-did-I-ever-live-without-these safety features, will come standard. This includes hill start assist, surround view camera, front and back parking sensors, cross traffic monitor and blind-spot warning.
The infotainment system is Andriod-based, and displayed onto a dual-zone 10.2-inch HD display mounted high on the center console.
Now keep in mind it's a concept and anything can change before it's production and sale in mid 2018, but we're hopeful it at least keeps that grill.

Find Quality Touch Up Paint

All touch up paint is not created equal! The generic paints you buy at auto part stores will likely NOT match your vehicle’s paint exactly. Believe it or not, even the OEM dealers usually stock “close enough” colors. We recommend PaintScratch.com since their high quality paint is freshly made, they custom mix each order for you upon receipt, and they offer a color match guarantee.
