The Italian Stallions have released a brand new, affordable, Ferrari this year, the 2018 Ferrari Portofino, which will be pretty cheap, err, I mean… as far as Ferrari’s go, with a disposable income price of about $200k.  Returning to it’s manufacturing roots back in Europe’s iconic, book-shaped peninsula, this entry-level Ferrari will be replacing the California T.   But don’t worry, it looks amazing.  Only other Ferrari owners will know that you were too cheap to spring for the 488GTB.

But just because it’s the “cheap” model doesn’t mean you’ll want for performance.  Under the hood you’ll find a front-mounted twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V-8, you’re also getting a new intake system, and improved pistons, connecting rods, exhaust and new engine-management software.  You’re looking at an estimate of 591 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque, with a zero to 60 mph in a hair under 3.5 seconds.

Of course you get all the unnecessary technology, 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 18-way powered seats you’ll only ever adjust once in your life when you first drive the car, and a power retractable hard top that you can use while in motion… in very slow motion.   You also get two rear seats that you’ll neither be able to fit a grown adult or lose your virginity in.
